The bridge

The bridge on the label is built in 1877 by the renowned French architect Gustave Eiffel. It is not only a symbol of connection between Moldova and Romania, but also a piece of regional history and character – something that felt right at the heart of the brand.

Consistency in visual identity can be a winery’s strongest signature – and Ungheni Winery captures this perfectly. We centered their labels around the Ungheni Bridge, a striking and memorable symbol that unites the entire collection, including still and sparkling wines.

For the mainstream collections, we kept the design clean and restrained, drawing directly from Eiffel’s blueprints. A hint of silk foil brings a tactile note, just enough to catch the light and reflect the care that goes into the wine inside. We also thoroughly selected different papers for the still and sparkling wines – each chosen to reflect the character of the liquid and the mood of the occasion, while keeping the visual language consistent across the range.
